How often should I complete an HVAC Service?
HVAC systems have measures taken to help reduce the amount of dust and debris the system takes on, but in Arizona, with dust storms and wind being a major factor, HVAC Systems take a beating throughout the year. This is why we recommend you to service or tune up your system at least once a year after Haboob season, and sometimes twice for older units.
What does an HVAC technician do during a tune-up?
Our technicians are trained to conduct a 54-point inspection of your entire system stress points and data factors. Technicians review run capacitors, check amperage on the compressor(s), review the system for loose or weak points, look for leaks in the drain pan and system, check low and high side Freon pressors, and check for play in the condenser motor. The list goes on. Bottom line, we check the system top to bottom, for just $49.99.
Is this for swamp coolers and commercial systems?
Unfortunately no, this offer is specific for residential units. We do handle commercial service, maintenance, and tune-up calls at Steadfast Mechanical, along with new installs.

How long does it take to do a service?
Most service calls can take between 1-3 hours, provided access is uninhibited and the size of the system.
