Hey everyone, it’s Brandon from Steadfast Mechanical. I want to share something that hits close to home – our PAW 1st initiative. If you have not caught the promotion on your new YouTube channel, as a way to give back to our community, we have adopted a 1 year old German Shepherd and are training him (Woody) to give to a local, Arizona veteran in need this Memorial Day!

We started with a simple idea: to make a difference in a Veteran’s life. We know the challenges that come after serving – I’ve been there. And that’s why we’re stoked about PAW 1st – it’s our way to give back, to connect a local vet with a new, four-legged friend.

This is where I get to introduce you to Woody, a German Shepherd with spirit, obedience, brains, and a desire to be there for his person. He’s the first dog we’re training for this mission, thanks to our partnership with Neal at Dog Training Elite in Mesa. Woody’s journey hasn’t been straightforward, but that just makes him more relatable. We all have our battles, right?

This program isn’t just about pairing a veteran with a service dog; it’s about building a community. It’s about understanding and respect – values we hold dear, whether we’re talking about HVAC, riding bikes, or anything else we do.

To my fellow vets in Maricopa County, this is your call to action. Visit our website, learn about Woody, and see if this is right for you. We’re looking for someone who understands the value of companionship and resilience. Apply, and let’s start this journey together.

Remember, applications are open until May 24th, and we’ll announce the selected vet on Memorial Day. It’s more than just a day; it’s a new beginning for one of you.

Finally, a huge thank you to everyone who’s been part of this journey – from the Steadfast Mechanical team to all of our customers that’s always supported us. We’re all in this together, making a difference one day at a time.

Stay strong, stay connected,
